Bluebox

The „Bluebox“ is a room or a surface with a homogenous blue or green color. One of the fastest and most cost-effective methods to create a disturbance free, uniformly colored surface is to hang a suitable monochromatic broad fabric. For uneven, asymmetrical, or hard to cover surfaces, flexible material is used to prevent folds.

With „keying“ a one-colored, usually blue background is recorded. Blue is especially suited for photographing people, because blue does not appear in human skin tones.
All blue surfaces are electronically „blanked out“ and replaced with another picture. Most blue colors are transparent while all other colors remain. The blue surfaces are then covered with a computer generated backdrop. Therefore blue clothing is not suitable. If blue is essential, a green background can be used.

Bluebox Fabric

Our Bluebox fabrics is plain woven cotton, either CS intense blue or green colored. A width of 5,20 m allows for the possibility of larger radii and makes it possible to work without seams. The material is flame resistant according to DIN 4102 B1. The treatment is permanent if it is not exposed to moisture. We also offer a stretchy fabric, which is up to 30% flexible and offers completely new possibilities.
