Nettle

Cotton nettle (also called standard nettle) can be used anywhere. In the decoration field for interior design, for events and large tents, as a cost-effective way to cover walls, as a painting or printing base, as a chair covering, or to make an old couch new again. For interior design cotton nettle is unrivaled in price!

Nettle is the collective name for plain woven cotton goods, woven with common yarn. We offer it naturally colored or dyed. Nettle fabrics were made from nettle fibers before the introduction of cotton, hence the name.

As much as possible our products come from Germany and are of a consistant quality. They are somewhat more expensive than Asian products. Out of quality reasons we consciously chose to sell German products and we’re sure you’ll appreciate it!

When washing or if exposed to moisture nettle shrinks significantly (up to 10%!). Consider this before washing, depending on the application you should prewash the fabric.

Attention! Flame resistant goods should not be washed, otherwise they will lose their fire resistant qualities!
